As the “information superhighway” grew into what is now generally called “Broadband”, Adesta grew along with it and is now a leader in the deployment of both wireline and wireless technologies. Our company began as the builder of some of the first fiber networks in the country. We constructed over 3,000 miles of fiber in the State of Iowa and 55 hops of digital microwave for the State of Connecticut. To date, Adesta has deployed over 150 successful networks in both rural and metropolitan areas. Adesta understands that advanced telecommunications infrastructure is vital to create economic opportunities in rural geographic regions. It can help attract technology-based businesses, provide higher wage jobs, and make broadband available by multiple providers, thus offering choice and enhanced customer service. Broadband networks offer a globally competitive economy for health care, education, government, non-profit organizations and businesses. Adesta can assist through every stage of developing a successful network suited to a client’s needs and funding. Broadband is not limited to wireline technologies and neither is Adesta’s experience and capabilities. We are equally at home working with a number of wireless technologies to either extend the reach of wireline infrastructure or construct an entire wireless solution. Our solutions provide an ala carte menu of options for our customers. Adesta’s experience includes engineering, design, procurement of electronics, permitting, installation, turn up/test, training and maintenance. We specialize in last mile and broadband solutions for ILECs, CLECs, utilities, municipalities, large integration firms and rural associations.
