One of the many new features Adesta will have to enrich our capabilities as a result of the G4S alliance is the G4S Video Monitoring support and Data Center (VMSDC).  This will help focus on the more advanced and growing effectiveness of off-site video monitoring. In addition to traditional monitoring, the VMSD center can apply behavior recognition algorithms, detecting behaviors in live video streams that threaten safety, alerting staff for immediate response.

On Tuesday, May 4^th the Rural Nebraska Healthcare Network (RNHN), a consortium of 9 rural hospitals and related clinics in western Nebraska, announced a pending transaction with Zayo Group, LLC and Adesta, LLC that will facilitate the deployment of a new $20M fiber-optic medical network.

Adesta will design, procure, install and integrate Intelligent Transportation Systems upgrades for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission at its five tunnel locations: Allegheny, Tuscarora, Kittatinny, Blue Mountain and Lehigh as well as other critical areas along the Turnpike’s east-west mainline and Northeastern Extension.

Adesta has been awarded a contract as a result of competitive solicitations from the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority to install a complete intrusion detection system along the existing perimeter of the Washington Dulles International Airport.

With over 25 years of experience in both the Telecommunications and Security industries, Ms. Stine’s focus will be to develop the company-wide strategy and execution plan for Adesta’s vertical markets. She will also be leading a team of driven sales and marketing professionals strategically located throughout the United States.

Adesta has been selected to design, install and integrate an enhanced command and control system for the Port of Corpus Christi, in Corpus Christi, Texas. The new state of the art system will control all the Port’s security subsystems, both existing and new. The new subsystems include advanced radar and SONAR sensors as well as computer aided dispatch, automated vehicle and personnel location devices and additional video analytics capabilities. The $3.5M project is expected to be completed in September of 2010.

ISC West is the largest, most comprehensive security industry event for end users, integrators, distributors, consultants and manufacturers.  There are over 23,000 people on average in attendance and over 900 exhibiting companies worldwide.

In 1997 a group comprised of independent citizens, local and state government officials, consultants and others began to meet in Colorado every fall to address how states could benefit from high-speed broadband services. The group wanted to focus on deployment of broadband both current and future, and to educate each other and the public on what types of applications were needed to better education, healthcare, government and the private sectors in rural America. These initial meetings were held in a community college and attracted between 150-200 people. By 2001 the core group of attendees decided it was time to develop a formal organizational structure and expand the organization to a national scale. Thus, the Rural Telecommunications Congress (RTC) was formed.
